The following plan is in place for St. Mary’s School concerning the transmission and severity of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID19).
St. Mary’s will be on Spring Break from Monday, March 16 through Sunday, April 5th, with the plan of returning on Monday, April 6th. This change has been mandated by the Governor’s office and the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
Schools have been granted a 20 day waiver for any missed days. Since we do not know how long this closure could exist, we will implement eLearning days on Tuesday, March 31st and Thursday, April 2nd.
In the event we are required to be out of school the week of April 6th – 9th, we will implement eLearning days for Tuesday, April 7th and Thursday, April 9th. We are already scheduled off for Friday, April 10th and Monday, April 13th.
We will have to let you know if we actually be off the week of April 6th – 9th at a later date. This plan will allow us to end our school year as planned.
Assigned work will be review oriented. There will be no new concepts introduced to our students. All assigned work will be graded. All work will be due upon return to school.
If closure would continue further into the school year, we have a plan in place and will inform you of that plan well in advance. We will provide updates via email, on our website and our Facebook page.
Also, any events scheduled during the next several weeks may need to be rescheduled, we will let you know as soon as possible.
