Mr. Dennis has spent all of his professional career in education.  He graduated from IU Bloomington with a Bachelors in Secondary Education.  He was in public education for 17 years.  During that time he was involved in coaching football and basketball, sponsoring the National Junior Honor Society, coaching Academic Teams, and serving as an Instructional Leader.  He earned his Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Saint Mary.  

He is also active in the community.  He serves as the Vice President of the Aurora Public Library Board of Trustees.  He is also a member of the Aurora Council Knights of Columbus.  He and his family have been members of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception for the last 15 years.  He and his wife, Sara, have been married for over 16 years.  They have been blessed with seven children.  Their oldest daughter attends Oldenburg Academy, and five of them attend St. Mary's.  The youngest will attend as soon as she is old enough.
