We, the administration, faculty, staff, parents and community of St. Mary School are committed to providing the development of Christian values, academic excellence, social responsibility, personal growth and leadership according to the message of Jesus Christ as contained in the scriptures and the Roman Catholic guidelines mandated in the current Indiana Curriculum Proficiency Guide and the Archdiocesan Curriculum Guides.
In an atmosphere of a safe and nurturing environment, emphasizing service to God and others, we strive to educate the whole person; spiritually, physically and intellectually.
Exceptional and passionate faculty committed to helping students reach their highest potential.
The school has a rich and well-rounded program in a school climate that is safe, caring and organized. Such an atmosphere promotes productive teaching and a high standard of learning.
St. Mary’s School offers education from kindergarten through the eighth grade. St. Mary’s is a fully state-accredited school following the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and the standards of education for the state of Indiana. This program is augmented with a variety of courses including advanced classes, Spanish, art, P.E. and music.
The Catholic principles are not only taught in the classroom each day and at Mass once a week, but also outside the classroom in the community at large.
St. Mary’s students are known for their community involvement - giving their time, talents and effort to help others - both as an expression of faith and good citizenship. Students consistently assist in community projects, park renovations, visiting the sick and elderly, patriotic efforts, parish funerals, and outside events which demonstrate their faith and commitment.
The very foundation of a good Catholic education starts in the home with involvement from parents on both the spiritual and educational levels.
